Last nights adventure:







Was pretty easy except for that damn intake mani bracket... guess I could have gotten it from under the car instead of try to reach with a wrench Oh well, live and learn.

Why pull the head? Well I bent a few valves thanks to a skipped timing belt.

Compression: #4 - 230, #3 - 195, #2 - 170, #1 - 150

The good news is I didn't mess up the block at all so I don't even half to pull that apart.

The bottom end looks too good to take apart (thanks to D for convincing me) so I'm going to just leave that alone. The head i'm going to shave .10, p&p, new valves and valve job. Then run a 2 layer head gasket which should put me up to around 11:1. Should be good enough for the Spec B's and some itb's.
