i was wondering how close i would be to beating a GSX in my CRX with a b16. also what would u suggest i do to meet the performance of the GSX and exceed it. TIA.

 

All depends on if the GSX is stock, and whether or not it is a 1 gen or 2 gen. If it's stock you should win, if the drivers are equal. If he has exhaust all bets are off. Not that exhaust alone will kill you but he probably has higher boost, free flow air filter, and some other fun stuff you can't see from outside the car. For a reference, GSX's run about 15.1 in the quarter from the factory. GST's are just as fast stock.

the 1st gens are faster thant he 2nd gens but i have drove both and i am here to tell ya that i seriously don't think you would win. it would be a good race if the driver couldn't drive but other than that i don't know

 

well you can free up the turboin a eclipse and run a 13 EASY my friend with a 20g and normal mods went 11.4s BAD *** car..my other friend had a 97 gsx runs 12's wth a 16g fmic and exhaust.. there fast cars u can take a 2nd gen put a 1g head on it and be sleeper like hell.. there nice cars.. but there clutchs kinda suck u have to atleast et a 2 clutches a year...but there nice cars.. easy to upgrade i have raced one 1st gen he smoked me had with my b16 n a hatch.. so i dont mess with the unfairadvantage..
