Thats probably your best bet, also do some searching and lots of reading up on different models and what people have done to them to get a feel for what YOU like. We really cant tell you what to buy, thats a decision you need to make on your own.

In my sig theres a good del sol thread with some good info on them for your reading pleasures.

even though you said you want to be behind the wheel of an ek, youre not going to be able to afford a decent one with only $3000... your best bet like everyone else is saying is probly an eg... even then its hard to find one with good mileage, but hondas can go for a long time. you'll have roughly 3-4 years with this car... and depending on if youre gonna have a job or not, you can make it out to be one hell of a car

Your just gonna have to buy one then sell it, then buy another car and sell it if you want a good car for college and a fast car to...

for 3k you should get a crx man. but it all depends on what you want out of your car. ie. looks, comfort, future mods, etc.

well for 3k you can find an ek hatch if you keep your eyes open. i just got mine in almost perfect condintion(2,500$) except the paint is chipping a little got it from some old people car is in great condition. sounds like you have some time you don't really need to get car when you first start to drive. think about it if you crash don't you wanna wreck your moms suv instead of your ek? my first car was a crx it is just as cool as my ek. maybe look at all the models unless you already have your mind made up
