i have a eg with the jdm eg6 cluster, diy jdm style clock and diy jdm style climate control....i currently have a ugly sony radio which the car came with and i wanna get a oem radio honda or any other car that lights up amber and fits in the eg....i know the si radio is amber but si radios suk not loud at all....the s2k radio is perfect....lights up amber and its loud as hell cuz i had one on my ek....i want sumthing different and sumthing oem so it wont attract stupid thieves 2 my car....wat other radios light up amber and are oem?

isnt crv same as si radio? i need something louder than the si radio.....

 

i dont know what youre talkin about, but my stock system bumps pretty damn good for being stock.... its pretty loud

 

no stock radio is loud.. not even the s2k one, why don't u just get an ITR radio and amp out all your speakers with a little amp instead

s2k radio are loud *** hell trust me i had one in my EK and that **** was loud as hell.....alot of my friends got si radio and there low as hell....

 

Any OEM radios have front/rear/sub rca outputs??

or maybe your friends have a sense of volume control?

OEM honda radios just do not compare to a quality aftermarket headunit and amp.

 

i have a 98-01 ITR deck in my car and i love it BUT im trading it for a nicer deck

 

i luckily got a Gathers unit when i got my RHD clip with the 6 disc changer, and it all worked. i found a few other gathers units on various sites. just have to look hard.

 

yea s2k radio is loud....i believe its made by alpine or clarion 1 of those 2....and i think the s2k comes with a built in amp thats y its so loud....

do they really have amps built in them?

 

i believe so... i dunno who told me....but s2k are 2 seaters so it has 2 power alot of sound 2 the speakers....understand?

no, the head unit would get to hot. Sony's new navigation is made by alpine, there head unit are no where near alpine quality and they have very minimal output.

 

sorry guys its made by clarion.....

 

A few of my Alpine head units have dual illumination, and the amber looks good in my Si. I would skip the oem stuff and buy an Alpine if you can swing it.

 

ist not alpine but it is clarion which is still another good company.....
