What did you do about the Vin # on the firewall since it doesnt match the vin # on the registration. I'm interested because if i do the swap, i dont want to have any problems with cops or dmv.
make sure this is only for a show car, you will never be able to put the car on the road. If you get it inspected and they find out you will fail. You will never be able to pass tech.
simple as that, YOU CAN'T CUT UP YOUR FIREWALL.

ill have no problems with that!!! My car is registerd in another county here in WI, so i have no emissions to take!!
BTW.... E.Honda.....Question
Do you have rear discs on your car. Because if i get a rhd clip its prolly gonna have the proportioning valve for rear discs and i dont have that.... or can i use my lhd one??

i have done many RHD Conversions, Civics, Del Sol, IS300, and soon to be started an Nsx. I found it easier to section the firewall out without taking the lower floorboard and lower rear skirts out. never had a problem...... plus alot less fab time in drilling out every spot weld. just my experience with the RHD swap

So far I have made about 400.00 to 500.00 profit from doing the swap.
Selling the extra parts from RHD clip and the ones removed from the LHD.

Yes I have a b16a2 from a 2000 Si.
As for the question on the prop valve.
The clip I got had the 30/30 prop valve.
I do have rear discs so I used my 40/40 prop valve.
It bolts in the same and the lines run the same.
You must use the RHD brake lines......Bent different.

Not true, the car is Still USDM, not a fully imported car from Japan. I Drive My RHD EG on the street and in the SFWD/T4 class, passed tech every time have been pulled over by the police mostly ending up with compliments. Have had thru our emissions check here in OHIO. No Problems. and again, It is Still A USDM Honda.

nice write up, but please allow me to say...
For those of you wanting to do a RHD conversion....Don't do it!!
Why are you wanting to sit on the wrong side of the car anyway? Are youi moving to Britain or Japan?
