okay i have a 94 hatch with a 96 obd2 LS motor and today i was driving to work and when i started it up i noticed that it ran kind of funny almost like in wasn't running on all cylinders so i drove from tacoma to fife and back home and when i pulled up to my house my carpet was melting and the plastic around the ebrake and then i looked upder the car and the exhust was beet red and shooting out flames so just let me know what might be wrong with it please because i don't know and if you want to ask more questions call me anytime duringthe day on my cell 253-948-6738 so please let me know what i need to do

Sounds like the Cat. My LS felt like it had no power, center consol was hot, and when I'd floor it a burst of heat would come up from the floor.

 

shooting out flames eh. cool. probly your cat is blocked causing heat to build up. replace your cat with a pipe
