Default Help Honda 929RR or GSXR 750 choices choices

Well fellas I got ride of my 02 600 F4i and there are two bikes here locally I am looking at. A black and yellow 2000 Honda cbr 929rr with micron slip on exhaust, polished wheels, sprokets 2 down in front 2 up in back and pirelli supercourses for $5,000 or a black red and silver 2002 Suzuki GSXR 750 with a jardine rs1 slip on, polished wheels, hotbodies undertail, sprocket 2 down in front, with metzler tires for $5,500. Let me know some opinions on both bikes I want to make a good decision.

My personal choice would be the 929. I have a GSXR750, though, and it's a great compromise between the liter and 600 bikes. The 929 is just more of a good thing.

can anybody give a little more detail into why the 929 is better. I like the bodystyle of the GSXR better but I am hearing more people choose the 929.

The 929 with it short wheelbase and -2/+2 is a terrific stunt bike, man. It'll wheelie from one end of Deal's to the other.

My vote is for the GSXR, just my opinion and always liked it better. All depends on the rider though.

I have always been a honda man but I always heard suzukis were just as good and in some cases better. But I really appreciate the help I think I am going to go check out the 929 this weekend.

Ive owned the gixxer and id say go with the 929...

Better price, geared very nicely, perfect stunt machine! and as PGK said, honda reliability..

the 900's 929's and 954's are known for being indestrutable stunt machines!!! You know if you can dump a bike 40-50 times and pick it up and fire it right up that its a good sturdy machine

They are also lighter (at least the 954RR's are) than the CBR1000RR, and with the right mods they are quicker around a racetrack.

yea my friend just got a 954 and its pretty nice I dont really like how it feels when I am sitting on it but its nice. But I am going to check out the 929 and see how it feels and how it rides before I cancel out the gsxr completely.

Buy the 929, its a stunt machine, I know at least 5 guys personally who used them as stunt bikes, dropping them almost weekly, and they are still running strong...

i wouldn't buy either of those paricular bikes becuase of the drastic sprocket change. they probably have been beat to hell. i've seen 04 gsxr 750 go for 6000. i'd hold out until i got a deal on a newer gsxr personally.
