90-93 integra traction bars, z10eng vs full-race
Just seeing if anyone has first hand experience with either of these 2 traction bars for 90-93 integras.
the full-race is 438shipped and z10eng is 450 shipped. supposively the z10eng is "beefier" than the full-race. does anyone have any experience with either of these?
which hangs lower? tia..

Geoff Racier designed the Z10 traction bars before he started his company Full-Race. The Full-Race traction bars are better than Z10's because Geoff realized a design flaw in the Z10 ones he designed and reengineered his Full-Race bars. I would choose Full-Race over Z10 any day. Just my $.02. They were both designed by the same person.

what exactly do they do, just keep the wheels from moving forward and backwards? do they effect the up and down motion?

They eliminate the bulk and lack of rigidity of the front crossmember, replacing it with a more functional(and much smaller/lighter) piece.

Here is a good visual for ya. I am 100% pleased with my purchase and after replacing the stock crossmember with the Full-Race bars makes the car feel soo much more solid!

Ground clearance isn't really an issue unless you are just slammed

Just curious if you still can jack your car up using the same middle jacking point, or if you have to just jack from the sides when you have that crossmember installed.

traction bars(well in my experience full race and l con) you can jack the car up in the middle with no probs.

cool, it seems like since its lighter and stuff that it wouldnt support all the weight, but im sure its a quality enough peice to be able to jack up there.

Actually, I sort of work part time for Full-Race. I am doing scientific research for them. I am working on my Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at ASU and I am studying fluid dynamics and analysis techniques for turbocharger exhaust manifolds. So yes, I do know Geoff.
