Default Which coilovers should I pick for mainly street driving and moderate track visits?

I was wondering what set up would be good for my Accord for mainly street driving but moderate track visits. In the future I plan on putting some decent power to the ground (500 hp+) so I want my suspension to be able to handle plus more. Right now I have only a Eibach Prokit and Tokico HP Blues. I am looking at the Tein SS and Omnipower Coilovers (older model and new model). Please give me your input. Please vote because you have own the product not what you have read.

BTW what spring rate would you guys recommend?

I think you'd be happy with either the Tein's or the Omni's, but I personally would prefer the damping adjustability of the Tein's.

Doesn't the newer model Omni has adjustable dampening?

I believe so, but I haven't looked into it.

if you're gonna spend enough money to squeeze 500 horses out of that car then you're looking at the ENTIRE wrong list of suspensions heh... do you mean track as in drag strip or an actual track

If its going to be mostly street driving, I wouldnt really think about adjustability as chances are you gonna set it and forget it. But, something reasonable would be like the new Progress coilovers. They have been gaining popularity and its a very easy bolt on/bolt off affair with those. A new one on the market is made by a sponser here called PIC. Really dont know much about these so no comments. They also sell Apex-i coilovers which I hear work pretty well too. Not very versed on the new brands (Ksport, omin, etc). But, I personally would NOT go with any of them until they have been proven.

I am personally running GC/yellows but my baby is an auto x *****, so............Plus, I love it street driven. But the meaning of car feeling is relative.

P.S. I think at your (future) HP levels, I think you need to be worrying about more things like axles, transmission, engine and the sorts. Most higer end suspensions on the market can cope with such protigous power.

Thanks for your reply. I already have a built motor waiting for me and I am almost done piecing my turbo kit together. I am just getting ideas for suspension parts because I plan on purchasing it soon. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. I am really just looking at Ksport and Progress right now unless something else comes up.

well..if you like kind stiff on the street. omni is good enough. they are not the best, but for the price, it does good job.
or

new coilovers from PIC, they are like omni, and have dust cover added.lol

omni is like $100 cheaper. iam sill thinking omni or pic(apex).

The PIC's are beefier and are better constructed. Plus they ride better. We tested some this past weekend and were quite impressed.

Are the PIC coilovers made by Apex? What are the spring rates on them?

Oh no, they are not to be confused with Apex'i's offerings. Apex is just a name of one of our lines.
Yes you can PM me if you've got any q's. There are multiple spring rates available.

That will be hard, since most people I do always pronounce it "Apex" anyways. I'd suggest PIC with the extra 10k rear drag spring. I'm starting to lean that way myself.
