Ya, but how much would you guys charge someone to do this for labor only in 20 degree weather. just a ballpark .....nething......i havent got a clue

Depends on what kind of sanding you are having to do. If all you have to do is scotchbrite the good paint- that's easy (just water - comet- and a scothbrite), but If you have to sand rust and flaking paint down to like bare metal with like 180 or 220 by hand- that would be a huge pain. If you have access to air tools like a DA (dual action sander) then that'd make it alot easier too. If just using a scothbrite or a DA I'd say like $12-15 an hr, but If having to hand sand the whole car with paper, I'd say like $15-20. I look at it this way- a good body shop would charge upwards of $40 an hr to do any work on the car, so they'd still be getting a deal in my opinion.
