Replacement carpet experiences
Does anyone has a positive experience replacing the carpet in an Accord from one of the after-market carpet retailers. Or am I better off with the dealer even it will cost an arm and a leg? Thanks in advance!

are you talking about the piece you can remove or the one under it?
if you are talking about the top piece
without the beefed up edge i think a cut out version will strap like a bastard, oem honda one can be found around 40 buck a set, not to mention wearing the accord logo, mounting hole and matching color.
if you talking about the molded undercarpet, if you just cut a piece, there's no way you can mount that sucker in, it gonna look pretty ugly.
if there's no hole or burn on the carpet, you can get it clean out pretty good, you can actually take out the whole thing and hose it down, shampoo and brush and you'll have fresh interior.
