Default Comptech Suspension

DOes anyone have any experience in using the Comptech Rear lower tie bar/sway non adjustable suspension combo for the 02-04 RSX????

Just wondering what your thoughts about it were.....I've checked online for prices and the comptech lower tie bar alone goes for about $55, and an ITR sway can be purchased for about $100......So its either those two parts for $155 or the comptech non adjustable combo for about $400.......

Would they give the same performance, or is one better than the other?....

Thanks

the comptech shoudl give a little better performance...

personally if you are going for a 22mm rear sway i would suggest Progress which also comes with a tie bar like the comptech...but its cheaper by alot, and has pretty close to the same performance...(i have had the progress..its a good bar)

the comptech lower tie...is going to do close to nothign for performance...mainly just for looks...

I've got F/R progress bars and Progress Coilovers. I reccomend getting new endlinks with them tho, I broke one and then replaced the lot with adjustable sperical joint endlinks.

I personally think the progress and comptech are too big for a stock suspension, especially if you just get the rear bar. So if you're not planning on going all the way use the Type-s rear bar and save some cash. Still either the comptech or progress setup will be fast.

i too snapped my stock enlinks...i have hotckis ones now.

anyway. the 22 mm will not be too big for a stock setup...it will provid you with less body roll and not sacrifice any ride comfort...you will not be able to get their max potential without working on your other suspension stuff too...i think that is what he means....

and really you dont need to get the front bar as it may actually make your car oversteer a bit....especially if you arent going in to deep to suspension...
