The V6's have always run clockwise, it was the inline motors that used to run counter-clockwise. The K-series was one of the first honda inline engines to run clockwise. The engine from a first-gen TL will fit a Legend, as will a first-gen RL motor with some modification to one motor mount (these are c-series engines, rather than the j-series which was used later).
