Default 94 Accord Auto Tranny Problem

I have a 94 accord ex automatic and have been experiencing problems for a while with my transmission. The problem is that when i start to drive, it works fine. But when the car warms up, the tranny pops down into second gear and will not shift back to third or fourth. Also shifts hard.

A friend has A parts Car of the same make and model, we swapped the tranny with his and the same problems still persisted. Does it sound like an ecu problem or something else... possibly solenoid prob??

Thanks for your time.

the car is in second all the time after it warms up? I dunno but I would check the shift sylanoids and pull any codes if present.

it sounds like the TCU may have faulted or getting a bad signal if you swapped trannies and the problem is still there..........

Hard shifting may be caused by high hydraulic pressure, bad mounts, or time to change the fluid. Also, a can of lube guard may solve the hard shifting problems once you get the other problem(s) fixed.
