Default stainless to mild with mig

i got a couple of O2 bungs that are stainless and i'm using mild for my downpipe. what filler / wire should i use? i'm using a lincoln 3200 weld pack. also do i need to backpurge mild? thanks

use regular L56/ER70S (i think thats the code) mild steel wire

no backpurging needed. just make sure you keep a crappy sensor in the bung while you're welding; one of mine warped some when i welded it so i had to get a tap after it
