Default Where to get gear

I started riding this past summer. Learned to ride on a Honda S90 (dont remember the year but i think '60's) with my friend who has already restored a bunch of old bikes (yamahas and hondas only i believe from 90cc to 500cc so far) And we will be working on a bike for me next summer i hope, but i want to get an early '90's or mid-late '80's sport bike rather than a classic, for i will be a good rider by then.

Skipping the intro heres my question: Where is a good place (around central NY or online) to get motorcycle gear fairly cheap (helmets, jackets etc)?

I've had great service with http://www.kneedraggers.com.

There are really a ton of places to shop around at. I know another place people will probably suggest as well is http://www.newenough.com.

If you're looking for a "project" bike, I got one for ya.

I gotta give props to newenough.com .... I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Except I'm still waiting on my BOOTS! They aren't late, I'm just being impatient.

Go to http://www.kneedraggers.com, or http://www.alpinestars.com and go through their sizing charts. I bought my gloves, pants and jacket online using their sizing charts, without trying anything on first, and everything fits awesome.

I was only half serious, but I have a 1995 Yamaha FZR600 with some very light body damage, just some rash/damage to the right lower fairing and both engine covers. I just recently replaced the main wiring harness after a short in the igntion fried the whole harness. Replaced the ignition on/off switch as well where the short occured along with the entire main harness. Also recently replaced spark plugs, did an oil change, 2 new headlights.

Having a problem with it running really rough/bad, and I believe its a dead ignitor coil on the 1 and 4 cylinders, which I ordered a replacement for just yesterday. Really doesnt need a whole lot of work, besides maybe patch up the body work, paint it, and a new set of tires.

I dont NEED to get rid of it, but I have another bike I can buy, and if yoiu were at all interested in this one, I'd be happy to work something out. PM me if actually interested. I'm about 2 hours drive from Saratoga Springs, NY btw.
