Well as you all know by now, the race was rescheduled for November 26 & 27. This will still be in Houston (Baytown) Same rules as B4.

I gave up on texas last season ...none taken

I'll be in san diego for thanksgiving during this one. Hopefully all goes well w/ the date and all.

 

We going to Try and Make it after our little incedent.
Car going to the body shop tomorrow, so we see.

Everyone in Texas wants a race but the only race you get is on a day made for eating!!! I don't miss deep fried Turkey!!!!!!!

 

Because I was racing all this year I didnt see my family much. There are 3 days there should EVER be racing, Mothers day (which there is never any races on that sunday, no nascar, nhra, NOTHING) thanksgiving, or Christmas. I just want to see my family....

I encourage other racers in Houston and surrounding areas to race. but I will be at IFO in Dec!!

I am about to do the same. I get tired of trying to promote racing and feel like anly a select few is really trying. As of next year I just want to race.

 

You really can't blame this one on anyone but the people throwing it. It's just stupid to have a race on Thanksgiving weekend...

I'll ask, but i doubt my family will want to drive 4.5 hours to go watch a race that weekend.

 

I understand the timing is bad. But I am sure it was the only thing available. We ask for TX races and we got some. We will have to take what we get and support it to still have it next time. I have family too but they understand that this what I love to do. Family and Turkey on Thursday, family on friday, race on Saturday and Sun.
