Default 1st time down

Well last night i went down for my first time. It was nothing major. Have had the bike for 5 months or so. We doing a normal turn not playing or anything just driving. The bike lays down. It was like the rear slid out or something dont know maybe i hit some sand. My bike got some scratches not alot the frame slider helped. Sucks i tore up my 120 dollar shoes that were kinda new. I only got a few little bumps Right hip knee and ankle and left shin. The worst part is i can't even be like i was playing and messed up that way it is my fault. NO i just fell drive like a regular person. I was in my leather jacket helmet and gloves. had on pants and sneakers. The helmet is brand new and luckily it only got a small nick on the back. Oh well it was a learning experience everyone goes down one day.

When you say learning experience, what did you learn?

Yes learned that everyone does go down that i am not special im just like anyone and can fall. Learned that wearing my gear helped. i dont sometimes i mean always helmet and gloves but not always jacket. I know now that i need to watch the corners better. Also learned falling HURTS.

I bet the major prob was my tires were cold too. I have made lower turns and faster with no problems. I had only been riding for about 5 mins before i hit the turn and then the ground. How long does it take to warm up a tire?

It depends on the tire manufacturer, the weather conditions, and the condition of the tire.

At least a few good, hard starts and stops. Weaving side-to-side doesn't do **** for heating up your tire.
