im planning on putting my civic up for sale this winter..

98 hx d16y5.. rebuilt top end in august at 123,xxx.. valves, head gasket ARP head studs were used, timing belt, water pump.. all done... all maint. done by my bro and i, oil changed every 3k since ive owned it...now 128,xxx miles

car is stock with the exception of a few minor bolt ons, i/e msd 6a,

the car sits on ground controls over tokico blues, 85+% left on yoko es100's 205/40 on 17" konig appeals
plus a set of steelies with brand new winter tires.


ctr front and rear lip, si spoiler, kaminari hood

the bad... needs some minor body work, the rear driver quarter was backed up into, the front lip is banged up a lil, few small dings here and there and a nice key mark down the driver side door..also the wheels could use a new coat of paint.

what do you guys think i could get for it???

id have to say that price is pretty low... where exactly on that site did you get that number.. im not seeing it??

anyway here are some pics.. not the best... they were taken with my phone..








the car runs and drives like new.. i usually manage 35-38mpg and a lil more than that with the steelies on

the interrior is exceptionally clean and the paint looks great with the exception of the key mark and few dents...


but if you guys think ill only manage somewhere around 2k for it.. then forget it haha

 

I'd give you 2750 for it with steelies.

 

i dont know i was hoping for a little more than that...

my dad manages a dealership and just last week a 98 hx with 159k on it went through the auction and went for 3400...

kbb listed my car in good condition for 4740...

and other than a few small dents and a scratch my car is in excellent condition..

if i sell this i need enough money to buy something else to beat around in for awhile... being a poor kid paying his way through college sucks
