Default Slightly OT: Regarding tow vehicle

Just installed an Airaid cold air box on my 05 f-350. I don't know if you guys are familiar with how the airbox fits, as I needed imput. When I installed the box, the inlet that connects to the rubber boot to the existing factory elbow is touching the reserve tank for the radiator. Given they are both plastic, will I have problems down the road with the intake rubbing so much, it creates a hole? I was looking at the 06' engine bay on the f-350 and they actually raised the reserve tank 2 more inches. Any info would be appreciated, i'll try and post some pics up later tonight.

I was also talking with banks, they told me the intake doesn't add any performance other than the noise and never have to replace the filter.
