Many of you know me by name, face or personally, During Saturday I'll be walking around with a jar for donations. Seeing how Craig has laid out all the money for this event to happen and also loosing a bunch due to low attendance I think we should try to come up with a few dollars as a way to show our appreciation.

This might not solve the debt he is in for the event, but might help him to smile.

As a side note, I'll be on track a bunch during the weekend (as with most) I'll have the jar placed in trust worthy hands while I'm not able to watch it. I hope that everyone will be honest and generous.

If you don't see me or the jar please take the time and find the jar.

Props to Craig for putting down teh mad dollars to put this event on. I'll be sure to put in more than a few bucks.

 

I have been contacted by a few people about them donating money from far away, But I simply don't have the knowledge on how to set up something to receive checks/MOs or paypal...
I do have paypal... D'UH! I haven't used it for more then a year... I thought they lock it when not used.
I guess we could use it.

Any suggestions?

Send them directly to craig at the same link he provided for payment for the event and just put on there donation. We'll have to ask craig if this will work but it sounds resonable.

 

snail mail, though the most archaic, is probably the easiest. i paid for my expo 5 spectator fee by sending a check to wes. so long as people don't send checks that will bounce.

Not to pressure anyone into giving money... but I'm leaving my house tonight on yet another Expo mission

so if you are going to donate any money now is the time (before 6:00 PM) so i can print out the list and present it at the track to Craig. But if you can't do it today have no fear, it will make it's way to Craig. I'll try to get on-line before i give him the amount on Saturday. Otherwise when I get back home I'll make a new post showing the complete amount given.

Once again thank you for giving your hard earned money to one of our fellow enthusiasts so he does not loose his shirt on this event. Craig and WT Expo crew have worked hard and long to make this happen and will have it despite all the finical trouble.
