You need to get it onto a dyno to tune it properly.

Defintely get it tuned on a dyno. Not all settings on somebody's setup will work for your car. Every car is different.

I will make it three that say you need to go to a dyno to propperly get it done. and by propperly I mean not adjusting it to someone elses specifications that will end up making your engine fall apart.

Well, you dont need a dyno if you can find a shop with a wideband like the Motec.

Hook it up and fine tune the fuel curve, look for a 13.5 to 14:1.

On the VTEC tuning, you can do it by feel or on a dyno, I have set my B18C5 (with many JUN parts) to 5900 Rpm, it seems to work the best.

I also richened it up into Vtec (5500-6000) area and leaned it out 1% on the top-end (I am using a JUN road race ECU though)

you could do it yourself with the proper knowledge and gauges. You'd need A/F and EGT to do it accuratly without blowing your engine.
