hey guys, i have a clutchmasters stage 3 says its good for 110percent over stock, i got an ls/vtec turbo and im hearing from people that that clutch will be slipping way before 300 hp. just wondering if anyone has numbers from a car with that clutch or any info. thanks

We have had cars push well over 400 whp on a dynojet with the stage 3.

Obviously there is something wrong, we have dynoed over 400hp with stage 3 clutch. Is the clutch brand new and was the clutch broken in before you guys ran it on the dyno.

oh we dident run it yet, but they were worried that it wouldent hold the power, i guess they had shitty luck with a stage 5 before...only got a few runs at the track with like 500hp and it was slipping. i was gonna wait and get a stronger one before i tuned it but i think im just gonna stick with this one and see what happens

I have been running a CM stage 4 in my civic for over 2 years now. I have well over 200 passes on the clutch and never had an issue with it slipping once. I am putting down around 300hp and dump the clutch at 7k on 24.5x9 slicks.

since the cm fx300 is kevlar i hear the break in makes or breaks that clutch

You will have no problem with the Stage 3 CM clutch. You made a good choice for your application. There quality is #1 in our book.
