b16 to an ls swap

Default b16 to an ls swap

need to do this swap. is it pretty straight forward? any wiring needed to be done?

No wiring needed. Just swap engines and thats it. The only thing is, that if you have a stock b16 header, it will not clear the oil pan on the ls. I just did the swap and that was my only problem.

what about if my downpipe is made for a b16 will the downpipe clear the ls oil pan? did you like the motor? much difference?

what about length of the runners of the IM? is the position the exact same as the b16?

The ls with the b16 tranny felt a lot quicker than the straight b16. As for the downpipe just try it, it might be a ls or gsr on there. You can't use the intake manifold off the b16. But if you have a ls one, it will be the same placement.

ok so this is a direct swap? what about upper and lower rad hoses and heater hoses? what about the throttle cable?
