I had never heard anything about this bike until tonight when I went to go look at a bike to buy earlier. What have you all heard about this bike? Good beginner bike, i'm guessing, which is perfect for my first bike or what?

It's old, but still a decent beginner bike.

If it's your first bike, try to find one that's in good running condition. Not necessarily the prettiest, but as long as it runs well, you'll be fine.

 

yes, great beginner bike. first time i rode was on one of these. it's a v-twin engine too, as you may tell from it's vtr moniker. honda quality, through and through.
