Default Project: DC2. Phase 1- Stock

After wrecking my baby-
http://forums.clubsi.com/showf...age=1
I picked up a 1998 Integra GS-R, only 62k miles. Bought it from a really nice middle-aged man, never "drag raced" as he stated. The car is completely stock at the moment. I'm debating whether or not I should pick up these ITR seats, front and rears, for only 750ish. We'll see, with winter coming up intalling anything is going to be a bitch.
Plans-
Comptech icebox w/ comptech intake
Not sure about exhausts, thinking maybe the HKS or comptech, ideas?
Comptech, ITR, or DC header
I have no idea what kind of suspension i'm going to run, maybe Koni Yellows with GC, ideas again? Will eventually get some omni power lcas and maybe a ITR lower tie.
ITR Boot, skunk2 **** and shortshifter, and ITR valve cover are in the mail.
Rims...hmmm. Ideas? I'm thinking maybe some bronze/gold gramlights, but really have no idea.
Hopefully shaved badges, on an 8 year old car, i'm assuming some marks are going to be visible if i debadge it, maybe i'll put on some red ITR badges.
Other than that this car will just be a I/H/E car running a nice suspension, anything else (turbo?) will have to wait until after college.

Here are the pics-
GS-R badge woooot

The artistic shot.

Her pretty little ***.

Cleaaaan paint.

Hmmmmm the bug eyes are growing on me.

vtAkkkkkk

Mint interior.

62k!

Purdy sunset...

I don't know guys, what you would guys do to a stock DC2 with 4k to spend?

I don't see an ITR badge? I'd upgrade the suspensions first (you know what to do) and then the brakes and the rest of the money I'd buy a nice Turbo kit or a JRSC and call it a day.

I mean just put on the red acura badges, opposed to the red honda ones, that were only found on the itr. I'm not trying to pretend i have an ITR though, so maybe i'll pass on that. I'm not sure on the seats, is the 750 worth it for the itr seats?

I say get the badges man, it'll look good. expletive everyone that thinks you're faking the funk. alot of these people are all negative about the badges, but go and put ITR lips on, or do 5 lug conversions on them, they still arent type Rs but they do it anyways, if it looks good to you, do it. I'd keep the swirlies to, it'll look hot.

keep it simple. i would definately go for the itr seats, tell the person 750 with the armrest tho. for the body i would keep it stock without the gsr badge, then lower it with some tein basic coilovers. for engine mods, i would go jrsc w/ hi boost pulley, comptech icebox, comptech header, test pipe, and either comptech or rs*r exhaust. no lips or rims, still awsome daily driver, what more could you ask for.

yeah, minus the slight price difference between the two

750 is pretty good for the front/rears. save up 300 more and get the jdm ITR fronts
