The other day I got in to my car and went to unlock the passenger door from the drivers side and the door lock wouldn't work. I checked the fuse and it wasn't blown. I have a 98 gs-r. Can't figure it out and I don't know if it will be expesive to fix, but it needs to be done. Thanks a lot for your input!!!!!!!!!

 

could be a weak/dead door lock motor/solenoid.. or could be the connection came loose (it just plugs in)... in my case.. it was the door lock motor.. it cost like $70 and was a bitch to replace... when i would disarm my alarm or turn my key in the ignition (has keyless entry and ignition controlled door locks) i would see the passenger side door lock TRY to move/budge.. but it wouldnt move the full rotation/cycle to the locked position.... other times.. i would arm my alarm.. see it TRY to move.. but it wouldnt lock... i had my friend help me to replace the door lock and it solved the problem..

not sure if this applies to your problem tho.. maybe the plug fell out, or its not getting power somehow.. what happens when u flick the power door lock switch inside?
