ive heard tons of hipe searched and found a little info. i know im going to need a scatter shield, helmet, and some sort of cage. i've heard u need harnesses but then have heard u dont need them. but as far as the cage ive been wanting to figure out if i can get away with a roll bar instead of a role cage. the difference beetween the two is a roll bar is basically a hoop just behind your head with a croos bar and 2 bars running from there to the back of the car with another cross bar in beetween them. a role cage is kinda the same thing but add 2 bars running along the top of your windows down your a pillars, across your visors and bars running down your doors. sorry if that made no sense i tried to explain it the best i can. thanx if u can help

 

as far as i know u need a scatter shield,6-point cage,fire jacket,5-point harness....but im sure at ur local track on a street night theyll let u pass with a lot of stuff...but not at events...there might be more but thats all i know of...hope this helps

i know theres a difference i want to only have a roll bar not a roll cage.

 

you still need door bars with a roll bar
