Freeplay in neurtral
I am wondering whether this is a bad thing or not. When driving my car yesterday I noticed that when I would put it in neutral the shifter would wobble a little much. The car still drives/shifts fine but I don't want it to be a little problem that could potentially get bigger. Any info?

Does it move by itself or do you mean you can move it back and forth/side to side yourself when it's in neutral?
Anyway, that's nothing. My Civic's shifter is so messed up, when I put it in any gear, it drifts right back to the "neutral" position. It'll still be in gear, but you have no idea which gear it's in.

New tranny mounts anyone? Shifter bushings? New car?
