Can't use the F20C for many reasons.

It's meant for rwd being the biggest

It is not a "drop right in".
But if you really want, you can do it, all you need is: the motor, tranny and ECU, money and a couple of close friends that work in a shop and won't charge as much as any other place would!!! It will take a lot of customization, welding, and creativity as well!!!

by the time you finish all that hard work you might as well buy a s2000, it'd be alot "pimper" then a "accord pimper", sell the accord for 5 g's, and all the parts and labor needed to do all that work would cost be around hm...6 g's maybe more, add that together plus a few more and ta-da S2000

an auto place put a NSX engine in the car, sure, because they have to time and the tools and experience to do such a swap, they can weld the parts and customize the car just so that engine can work. This guy however most likely does not have the tools and time and experience to do such a job, and the s2000 motor would be a waste of time, atleast a NSX motor would be worth it in the long run

i think he's just a little lost, someone just needs to tell him that the F series in the S2000 and the F series in the accord are way different

besides, i mean it would be fast but when your dealing with high performance 4 cyl it would be alot more worth it to be in a smaller car than a accord, youd spend less money in the long run buying a s2000 instead of a new engine, new tranny and all that customizing, you might as well look for a type R engine and get 220hp out of it

It all depends on how much the guy really wants to do this.
If you are a accord lover, and want to keep that particular car and have it fast... ...having the money will make that dream come true. Other than that.... ...try a H22 if a swap is so wanted.
Either way, the stock F22 engine can become pretty fast as well with some work.

No, with the $15,000+ he'd spend on the f20, he could buy an h22, build it for boost, boost it and be sitting low 11's

it works, but that doesnt mean that the f22 wouldnt work, i drive a f22, infact i know about 6 other poeple that live around me that drive f22s, im mianstream for the moment so i guess it works too, noone said putting 15k into a f22 wouldnt work, if you could ever put 15k into a f22, take your H22 and you die! you die and you go to hell!

how would anyone blow 15k on a honda motor, especially a f22 or h22, i'd say 6 max and it would be fast enough, anyone who plans on spending 15k on a honda motor must really have something to prove or has too much money and spare time...

accord and s2k engines spin different directions so it will cost you a lot of money to fabricate or have 5 reverse gears.

And who gives a expletive about 15 grand into a honda motor...get realistic people .

Quit arguing about the F22 vs the H22. It's a never ending arguement. Some people are die hard H22 fans and some are F22 fans. Just agree to disagree or take it to PM's and out of this guys thread. Lets keep it on topic

if you want to swap an s2000 motor in and you have the money then more power to ya!
but as to the h22 tranny, i dont think it would be possible/feasible for the f series motor + you want to have a good tranny that was made for the f series
just my $.02
