anyone know off hand what vacuum hose regulates idle? i have a pretty high idle and a buddy said something like its "hose 4" whatever that means...any insight on this topic?

 

If your just trying to adjust your idle you can do that. Unless you think your hose is leaking or something I would just search for idle adjustment. I've never had to do it but there is a idle screw you adjust to make it idle higher or lower

 

well its not so much adjusting as it is correcting...i could just adjust it on the tb but this is a leak somewhere.

 

A leak in any vacuum hose will alter the idle characteristics. Search all the hoses and the connections for any such leak.
