Need Help! Removing 89 CRX headlights
one of my headlights has condesation build up in it. so i went to the junkers and bought a replament. But now i can seem to figure out how to remove it.
do i have to remove the fornt bumper? not too sure, but i think the bolts that hold it up are hidden underneath the headlight, and i have no idea how to reach them.
someone pls help....
thanks.

yeah you have to take off your bumper! There will be bolts on the bottom of the headlight. YOu will need an extension to get to them. There are also a few on the side of the headlight as well. Good Luck
Most people just drill several small holes in the top of the headlight to let the water evaporate. This is a common problem that replacement headlights may not solve.
drilling holes? its worth a shot....feeling to lazy to remove bumper..LOL
Thanks for the tip.
oh and plus...i was messing with the Headlight Height level, any1 know how i am suppose to set it up? dont want it to be poiting to high and blind ppl infront of me.

this is common for the older gen headlights. If you buy brand new oem headlights from honda, albeit very expensive, they will have vents built into the top of the headlight that prevent water from entering but allow water vapor to vent to atmosphere preventing the condensation build-up common with the old style. I have a 1990 Hatch and when I bought it the brackets inside the lights that hold the headlight in place were rusting and the glass looked very cloudy, after replacing them with new oem headlights I havn't had a problem since, going on 3 years now
