Default h23 automatic transmission into 90 accord

i have a 90 accord lx automatic and the tranny is bad. and i have a 94 prelude h23 automatic transmission . can it go into the accord and if so is there anything else that has to be changed.

i know the h and f bellhousings are the same for the manuals so they have to be the same for the auto's. but are the tranny mounts the same and is the auto trans controller the same.

im guessing the trannys are the same thing i would just like to clairify before ripping it apart.

i would of searched this but the search is down at the moment.

any help would be apreciated.

thanks

wow its nice to see 16 hours later no one even has a wrong answer for me.

guess asking a hard question doesnt get responces on honda-tech. only easy ones like what kind of wheels should i put on my whip and check out my rice dont you think its nice.

i dunno why dont you look at it yourself? all you have to see is if your stock mount matches up.. as for it bolting on to the motor.. it will work for sure.. you just have to check on the mounts. check it out

well taking into consideration any rice ball will come on here and waste a post on things so trivial and people will give them there useless opions. i figured i would ask a question that no one has asked before.. since i did various searches and came up with nothing.

since i didnt get a responce in over a day i did just that i went out and visually looked at the 23 tranny and then looked at the accord i want to put it in. then checked the serial numbers on the tranny to see if they were the same and also check the tcm module part numbers for consistancies.

i found my own answer as is per usual. scarponze 847 honda-tech 0

thank you jdmcb7 for your useless comment
