Well.... 8hrs later and...........

It's in. Not everything is connected yet, but that can wait for another day. Today consisted of:
9:30 wake up
10:00 go get coffee
10:30 get all my **** together
11:00 enter basement
12:00 setup, flywheel and clutch installed
1:00 tranny installed. Fukced up one of the dowel pins good. Didin't need that anyways.
1:15 My lunch arrives YAY sushi!
2:00 to 5:00 engine install.
Ya, ok so it took me a little longer than I thought it would. I had to fukc around a bit because I followed the Helms instructions. They don't mention to make sure the rear and drivers lower mount brackets should be installed on the block before the uppers are torqued down. Had to fight the bolts on the drivers lower all the way too. Oh well, it's done.
Tomorrow: Blackcomb BITCHES!

Thats a helluva duct you got going on there. But congrats on the motor install, and I look forward to seeing the completed project with tons of mandatory pics.
Sidenote: spell check doesn't pick up helluva as a misspelled word. Hrmm..

What's the really long ss braided line (near the air filter in the pic) for? EGT?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thats the turbo oil feed. It used to go the other way around the block, I'm going to shorten it up a bit and run it the other way.

Is that a thermostat next to the ABS pump with the AN hose-ends that I see?
I also contemplated using teflon-lined braided lines and AN hose-ends for the wastegate. I'm considering using a combination of hardline and braided teflon-lined hose for a friend's car...or maybe just hardlines and short sections of fuel injection fuel hose to avoid all the cost.

What's the other ss braided line right near that one for?
Sorry for the stupid questions, but I'm curious due to the length of both lines.

Thats my vaccume line for my wg. People laugh, but I had a silicone line spilt at the wastegate connection before. If the wg doesn't see the boost from the im you're in big trouble.
Keep in mind the bulk of the lines are not in their final resting state.

Hopefully all your doubts about your project are forgotten when you fire it up, if they aren't by just seeing the completed engine in the car.
