this may sound like a stupid question, but i have never heard of or seen anything like that. so, out of curiosity what does it do, how can you get up to 45 hp gain out of it, and where does it attach to?
my friend had it on his tsi for a week and then got rid of it. It sounds like **** and rattles alot. But the gain was incredible....the car seemed alot faster or atleast sounded faster.
It replaces catalyst, just flows exhast down ward insted of though restictive exhaust system. 45 hp gain is impossible, however gain upto 10 hp can be produced... Can be... A test pipe or cat removal is a better idea IMO.
This earth is what we make of it, if we all ran free flowing exhaust w/o filtration our atomsphere would be much worse. When I get the chance to auto cross or test 1/4 mile I will remove my cat for the power, everyday, no way. Plus you car will be very loud and smell like ***.
BTW, I don't hug trees, or wear a fany pack, I just saying; yo all can admit car pollution is ******' **** up... *cough* *cough*

45 horsepower isn't too unreasonable. If you're running like 2 bar of boost with a stock muffler, bypassing it would probably make that much of a difference.
On a stock car, you'd be lucky to see more than 5 hp, and fewer than 5 noise violation tickets.

oh yes I think that plumbing utensil-thingy is a big piece of poop!
Why would you be running 2 bars (30ish PSI) of boost on ANY stock exhaust system anyways?!
