shitty enough that they sell them for 60 dollars. use the SEARCH feature. there are about 500 topics about this very thing. do we need to completely disable new members from making new topics until they learn the search feature? jesus crimany.

I'll summarize.

The springs can sag, rust, crack, etc.
The sleeves can crack, rust, chip, break, etc.

They are a bad idea.

skunk2, or ground control for around 2-3 hundred. if you want full coilovers, tein makes a decent setup that runs around 7ish.

Arospeed coilovers have actually been shown to be not half bad. If you're going to cheap out on your suspension, which is not a route that I suggest taking, then I'd say go with those.

Also, the guy above is right. You really should read the forum rules and search before you start a topic like this. This board has been around a long time and some poeple have been here for years.. you can imagine it would get old being on a forum and seeing the same topics come up every other day for years on end.

yes yes,,,arospeeds(450f/350r) are to bad...i have had mine for about 1.5 years and no saging or decrease in ride...not bad for 100 and something bucks. im about to swap my front springs for some 550 rate ers springs. there are accually a few people running these coil-overs here and have had good outcomes with them, a user here accually went back to arospeeds when he swapped for some skunk2's, they rode crappy.

When you put the link inbetween the tags of , delete the last bracket on the first like so:[URL . Then put an = sign after, put in the link, and finally close it off: .
Then type inbetween the two URL brackets whatever you want to show up as the link; i.e. [ URL=link]Click[/URL].

I was broke and my car had broken OBX springs so I bought some dropzones and I like them. Some people have had problems w/the sleeves breaking but mine our fine as our my friends on his 98 teg and he has about 40k mi on his. They are about $100 on ebay. I would have preferred to buy some GC sleeves but I just didn't have the money. Once I upgrade to koni yellows then I'll give an update on the ride b/c I don't really know of anyone that has them w/decent struts.

I had absolutley GREAT results using Skunk 2 SPRINGS and tokico illumina's on my old DB. Gave me about a 1.8-2.0 inch drop, rode pretty decently and with the suspension, adjusted camber and some azenis, **** stuck to the ground like it was on a track

Skunk 2 all the way
