PR3 vs PW0

Default PR3 vs PW0

i just ordered a b16a and was wondering what the differences between the two are, is there something i have to do different with the PR3 when installing other then the PW0?

They are functionally identical and can be interchanged without any other changes.

both pw0 and pr3 wiring is the same, not sure what makes them different other than i believe the pr3 was from the civic b16a and the pw0 was from the crx b16a. the wiring is connections are:
ecu connection engine connection
c8 2nd O2 sensor
a8 vtec solenoid
b5 vtec oil pressure
b19 knock sensor

The processor code is different, even between the JDM and EDM versions. From the outside, they are the same, but if you put JDM PR3 code in an EDM PR3, no worky.

The PW0 is from civic's and crx's, the PR3 is from the Integra. Performance is the same between them.
The PR3 is slightly easier to chip and has more programs to choose from if you decide to modify it.

Chipping a PW0 is the same procedure as chipping a PR3. There do seem to be more programs for the PR3 though.

i felt a difference between the pw0 and pr3. pr3 pulled alot harder. or it might just be in my head.
