I accidently scuffed my interior when taking off my S.W.A.T LOCK-R. The screw came out from the bottom of the base and scratched the top of my dash (see picture below). Anyone know how to go about repairing a scuff?

 

I only see a picture of the swat locker, can we see a pic of the scratch on your dash?

 

I'll post a picture tomorrow. I just showed the picture of the s.w.a.t locker so people could see how it got scratched

If it's not deep, and assuming you have a black dash, I would try some interior cleaner/conditioner or a dye like Mother's "Back in Black". It's made for faded black rubber and plastic moldings, but it would probably do well at covering up a dash scratch. Look at the top of the appearance/cosmetic forum, there is a stickied thread by Bunmango that is about detailing, maybe he posted some suggestions on repairing interior scratches.
