Default Steering Wheels...

Ok guys, I am pretty set on getting a Spoon Steering wheel, but I am not 100%... What wheels do you guys recommend? I want a smaller one that stock, and I heard that the Spoon isn't that much.. Suggestions/pics?

the Spoon is a copy of another, cheaper aftermarket wheel. It's MOMO, Sparco, OMP, or one of those companies. Didn't you just flame someone earlier and tell them to do a search?

Yeah the Spoon is a Momo, but like twice the price b/c of the red stitching and Spoon horn button..

i'd go with the spoon or the jdm itr wheel, non airbag if money is an issue. Mugen's new wheel is pretty cool too. The old one is even better if you can find someone that wants to part with it.

Then you leave the stock one or get an SRS wheel.

The new mugen looks like it belongs in a lowrider with leopard print velvet .. Oh and you forgot the Spoon wheel also has red stitching

id save the $ and just get the monte carlo...i really cant justify the extra money for the red stitching and spoon horn button...but on a side note, the monte carlo is a very comfortable wheel...but if you have the extra cash, just get the spoon version...either way you win!

The Insite/S2000 wheel only fits 96-00 Civics due to different Hubs.(I bet you could make it work but would it be worth it.) I like my wheel a Sparco 183 330mm and its a classic design.

Are you sure about that?

My friend has an s2000 steering but he's not sure whether it will fit on other cars.

Thanks

I'm having my cousin who owns a shop order me a Spoon steering wheel and a "H" horn button for my project car... I had them look for the JDM NSX-R steering wheel, but its too hard to find... Inline4 can get it for me, but $$$ I think its a bad *** steering wheel...

What is the benefit of the steering wheels without the airbags? I don't understand. Are they just lighter/easier? I don't really think I'd ever opt to NOT get an airbag, or take one out of my car ever since my mother got in a car accident, EMT's said airbag saved her life :X

Is there a good reason? Or is it just for looks?

Most (all?) roadracing sanctioning bodies make you remove your airbags before you can compete.

Airbags scare the **** outta me.. For some reason I can live without an inflatable bag coming at me at 200+/- mph... Besides they didn't inflate in my accident anyways.
