What PSI on BFG drag radials?
Im heading to the track tonight, and just picked up a set of BFG drag radials 205-50-14 and never launched with DR's or slicks before.
First time at the track ran 13.5@111, and 13.1@114 ran those times on my falkens 195-60-14 street tires.
Now im looking for better times with these DRs
Since the SEARCH is down now, what psi are you guys running at? and do you do a burnout in the box with DRs? 1st gear or 2nd gear?
thanks guys

or just going around the box and doing a dry hop to shake loose the debri?

Well just got back from the track, only got 3 runs
1st run BFG's at 15psi, 2nd gear burnout, launch 4k:
60ft: 2.254 13.37@110.23
2nd run BFG's at 14psi, 2nd gear burnout, launch 4.5k:
60ft: 2.188 13.05@112.54
3rd run BFG's at 14psi, not a great 2nd gear burnout, launch 4.5-4.7k:
60ft: 2.145 13.03@112.94
I so wanted into the 12's today, but i guess since it was cold out i think top of 1st gear i would lose traction and i could do a better launch probably.
well only one more week before the track closes, so im hoping to get back there one more time and try to dip into the 12's
btw specs on the car, 280hp 217ft-lbs 2450 with me in it
Would launching higher yield a quicker time? Or is more seat time the only fix for 12's?
thanks fellas
