02 DC5 Suspension, Brake Upgrade Questions
working on putting together a full suspension and brake upgrade for my friend 02 DC5 this will be the first DC5 that i have worked on and ive been kind of outta the loop for a little while now but anyway i was wondering what you guys recommend and what has been a good performer on the DC5, looking to keep everything under 5k so far ive been looking into the following
JIC http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=37722
TEIN Flex (EDFC Compatable)
EDFC Unit http://www.tein.com/edfc.html
Sway Bar(s) Looking @ Suspension Techniques you guys running both bars or rear only ?
Strut tower and Tie bars in there somewhere too
I havent found much in the way of a brake upgrade found a wilwood kit on overboost but thats about it, so if someone could learn me up in this area id appreciate it. Also depending on how much if anything is left over wheels and tires would be nice to get in there too if anyones got any input in that area as well.
tia
edit: its a Type S btw

Tein Flex is a nice setup with the EDFC. I would definatley agree with that. Check out that Super Street too depending on what you are looking for.
Also most people with the DC5 choose the Wildwood setup. Its excellent for the price. Stoptech makes a BBK but it is twice the price.
Heres a great website to get exactly what you need for a good price:

As far as swaybars are concerned you have to be careful because some won't clear aftermarket exhausts and headers. I never dipped much into this area because my Teins handle excellent enough for me and I was worried about clearance with my 3" downpipe.
