6 puck disk with stock pp?? sorry search is down

Default 6 puck disk with stock pp?? sorry search is down

well ive got an act disk that im gonna give to a friend, but i was wondering if he can use a stock pressure plate with it. setup will be a gsr turbo, low boost probably around 225-250 whp tops. would the oe pp be ok?

i dont have any experience with it but i dont think it would work well... cant be that much more for the pp. you need extra clamping force from the pressure plate if im not mistaken

Not too sure about a Stock PP with an ACT Disc but I do know you can run a Stock Disc with an Aftermarket PP.I have a few buddies running ACT PP's with Stock Disc's and it's worked out great so far for them,they said with the ACT PP the clamping force is A+ and everything is holding up fine.

i've done it, and it works fine. the only thing is that i couldn't push the clutch all the way in or the pp would catch on the disc. i fix this by adjusting the cable (ef ys1). i hated it a six puck is too harsh for me.
