here is what i would have to play with that i have finally been able to afford

B18c1 bottom end
Type R head,cams,etc..
AN-R header with merge collector
Password intake
Hondata or uberdata to tune it

Thinkin of putting pistons into the motor this winter
would P73's be a good choice or should i go aftermarket

my goal would be around 180 whp or so, could i achieve that on the stock pistons, and this set-up?

 

i would say for sure on the itr pistons.. bump up your CP to like 11to1..
and since you will have all other type-r goodies with the an-r header and hopefully a good tune i feel that 180whp sounds reasonable

 

well DC2...if i could afford your motor i'd be already there....but no one will buy my b16 any year soon....SOMEONE BUY MY MOTOR

im pretty much tryin to build ls/vtec myself because my dad knows about that stuff and i told him about the situation and me not selling my motor to you and he said if you have any problems he will help you out since you did me a favor and i kinda screwed you on it

$500 for a bear head isn't worth it to me....i have a bear head already with B/S gsr crap in it....i can buy R cams for 300 bucks....and just slam them in it....

if i don't buy your head i'm just gonna go aftermarket...

i've heard nothing but good things on the Rocket cams....

and for 990 dollars on the head package- i'll just sell my B16 for it
