I have a clifford IQ700 and I thought the brain was dead but its not. Great cause this means I have an extra $ to spend on upgrades. I would like the windows and sunroof to close and open, turbo timer, int motion sensor, trunk unlock and if you know of any other options let me know. I also would like a different sounding siren and a new remote w/ extended range which I heard I cant get but that is from an alarm shop who wanted me to buy a new alarm.

Can I buy the hardware from Clifford or take it somewhere to have it done. HOw much should prices run?

 

you can buy Clifford Smart Windows modules (or another brand) to make your windows and sunroof roll up... unless the new models control more than when i was looking into units (about 2 yrs ago)... you will have to buy 2 modules.. each module controls 2 windows... so you need 2 units.. (1 unit to control your driver and passenger window...1 unit to control your sunroof/moonroof).. this should run about $300, motion sensor you can buy Cliffords and have it plug right into your IQ 700's 2nd sensor input...

im not sure if you can get a turbo timer integrated into the IQ700.. i kno the AvantGuard has turbo timer capability.. that you'd have to ask a shop (or maybe someone else on this forum.) if its possible w/ the IQ700... you shoulg be able to get trunk unlock/release too.. i believe the IQ700 has 12 channels total.. and has a few free...

u can edit the siren sounds to cut out some if you want by putting the alarm in valet/program mode.. and following the chart that came w/ your manual (sorry dont remember off my head which column/rows it is to change the siren sounds)..
