removing the rear bumper of an 89 DX.. how..
Hey,
Well if it is anything like a CRX bumper, which is most likely is, there are a few steps you must take before you do anything. You mus first remove the tail lights. You can get to those by removing the panel that is at the back under your hatch. Remove that and reach behind there and unplug the bulbs. Then take a socket and remove the bolts that hold the lights in place. Pull off the taillights and look down. There should be about 4 or so scres there remove them. Then look under your bumber and remove the bolts that are there about 4-6 again. Make sure you get the one that is above the tail pipe. Then you should remove your license plate and remove the screws behind that. Then pull the bumper out. There might also be screws on the sides of the bumper or in the rear wheel wells that you have to remove but they might only be on the 90-91 models. I hope that this helps you out.
