I wanted to paint my 96 hatch an olive green color but i am starting to see it more and more. Do you guys think this is played out since Mike did it? "amseventank?

How about you stop worrying if others think it is played out or not. If you like it then do it. expletive what others think.

true and i dont wanna do Mikes color i just never seen an ek done this way, so I think i am going to do it up, i wanna be different but sometimes being different is taking a color that hasnt been done on one vehicle and puting it on anther

 

just paint it midori green, its way sexier than olive green for a 96 civic.

 

Yah midiori green is a really nice color, theres not many cars that are painted in a light green, so thats why i like it I guess.

 

paint your car brown, it would be soooo hot. i mean you'd be getting poontang out the ying yang

....remember, you have a honda....exterior wise (if your staying "jdm"), there isn't much that you can do to differentiate yourself from everyone else. and color wise, there probably aren't many other flats, olives, or earthtones that haven't yet been on a honda, so good luck

my 2cents, not that anyone cares...

but mikes car is pure hottness, why b/c he took something from one person; himself.. i live all the way across the united states and i only need one picture of his car to see that.. like anyone who uses there own creativity, you will get notcied and have a chance to make something once common, really stand out from the crowd...

what bothers me is, all these people following a trend... yes jdm is nice and rare b/c we cant get the parts easily over here... blah blah... wether its jdm or usdm, we should all be about creating an original car of what we individually like...

i just hate seeing people saying damm this car is ****, and if mine is this color, or has this part it will get jocked.. maybe in your local town, but on here, people know who the real builders and innovators are, so no matter what you look like a chump who cheated his way to the people where it came from... and if you like to live with that then so be it...

and then there is blah blah, who cares its just a color and we all drive hondas, but to some people its not... to some people that are really into this sport its more then that.. that statement has been whored out, so they dont look fradulent or like a poser...

this sport used to be about innovation and progressing function 1st and form 2nd forward.. now i see alot of people just getting the same setup as the next guy because he made this number, or they want their car to look like his...

this isnt directed towards you or anything... i think if you want, truely want to and dig that shade of olive green, then paint it... but just remember when you pimp your **** around town and get complements, your taking credit for something you applied and didnt create...
