Some people say the asr kit is stronger than the comptech. I'm going to try the asr kit

if you have a 92-95 civic assuming from your name. you will be fine using a 23mm rear sway bar and the bsq kit > or similiar and you can safely use oem shocks aswell, and be lowered.
my setup for two years with weekly mtn runs with no problems as all.
flex, 23mm, bsq kit, lowered 3" never a problem. before the flexes i used oem shocks still no problems.
i would suggest if you go to a 26mm bar . i would get a brace kit. i will soon be getting a comptech with my 26mm rear sway bar on my eg.
if anyone is selling a used comptech bar let me know look in my sig.

ok then you should definitely use a comptech or an asr brace kit, instead of the beaks or the bsq kit with the sway bar.
also search in the archive for subframe tearout... do not use the beaks or the bsq kit. use the subframe brace instead.

I agree. The EK is more prone to tear-out because the sway bar mounts to the outer edges of the subframe outside the LCA bolt (unlike EG/DC that mount inboard of the LCA bolt).
ASR seems like a great product to me, and I would use that on my EG if I were to run a 22+ mm bar. I like supporting the smaller companys. Comptech is definenlty the way to go if you have ABS though, since they have built in ABS line channels in their brace...

I got the ASR brace from Charleston, and it's holding up well with my 22mm rear sway bar. I've daily drive over some pretty rough roads
For all of you who haven't read the ASR thread...
