Default 92 accord 2.2L SHOC non-vtec sputtering during acceleration

i pulled out from a friends road and got on it in 1st and 2nd to avvoid getting hit, got to my street and down shiffted to 2nd and pulld in pressed the gas and it started to sputter for a bit then would be normal i does it through 1 2 3, havent went in 4 and 5 to see if it does it. got home and checked the spark plug wires all in order, and new spark plugs about 1500 miles ago. cant seem to figure out what it is my friend said that it could be a fuel filter. an answer would be greatly appreacited.

What brand and type of spark pugs and wires? Honda's are very picky about spark plugs. The best ones are NGK or Denso non platinum.
From what you described it doesn't really sound like a fuel problem. a fuel problem would get worse and worse the higher the rpm's.
good luck
