In what context? The word askew means "twisted or turned to one side", so a C/F hood that is askew has some fitment problems.

I would assume that the weave is not parallel (crooked) in areas.

well if thats the case, then its not bad at all.

 

If you paint the part, you most likely would never know. If it is unpainted, it could be quite obvious. A hood should not look like a Van Gogh.

 

does a kewed weave in a hood look bad ? im pretty sure most people wouldnt even care as long as the part looks clean( no scratches or dents).

 

I'd ask for pictures before purchasing.
