wsup guys..ight i need to get my car tunned 99 si semi-built ls-v but my tach doesnt work can i dyno tune my car with out it or do i really need one to tune it?

 

Most any system like Hondata has a tach signal built in. My car has no tach or boost gauge and was tuned perfect.

well my stopped working so i completly took it off...and i need to order one from honda but i know a guy in the parts dept who hooks it up so i gota wait on him but i need to get my **** tunned at bubbas TODAY. so ill be ok with out a tach?

 

dude you use a tach signal from the dyno so .... uhh yeah it will work

 

correct. On dyno jet software (of which i am most familiar with), the screen shows a tach and speed gauge. I typically use this tach instead of the Honda tach. Honda tachs are typically off by a couple hundred rpms up top.
